So my rating applies to all three books because they were all absolutely amazing.

I decided on a whim to read these and the author actually posts updates to them on Webtoon (and Tumblr and... somewhere else) so I went back and started from the beginning... and let's just be honest I got to the end and realized I just read around like 900 pages worth of Charlie and Nick amazingness and I was NOT AT ALL let down or disappointed. The hype surrounding this series is so worth it.

I wasn't necessarily scared of it being overhyped? It was more that I didn't want to wait on a loan from my library to read all of them at once... and I didn't know they were online! I would have read them so much sooner I literally promise. Also, I do plan on, in the future, buying the printed copies. I love this series and I want to support the author by buying copies of these books (and the future ones as well).

I just cannot get over how great these books are OH MY GOD. ROMANCE IS TOP TIER MAN. New favorite books. New favorite series.

Is there a ship name? A fandom? I want to support the ship and jump on the fandom train.. what is our name!

I've decided that one of my new favorite things is picking up old Christmas related books at used bookstores. It always goes well for me and I always find a cute Christmas story. It was definitely the case with this book. I love dogs, I love Christmas, I love supporting the Adopt Don't Shop way, and this book had all of those things.

I loved the relationship between the dad and his son. I loved the backstory of the dad's rough dog history and how he is struggling to move on when his disabled son wants to foster a dog over the Christmas holiday.

It's a heartwarming story with a very simple plot, but is still very enjoyable. It's a great read for a Christmas holiday. I am interested in checking out the movie version as I figure it will be as, if not more, enjoyable as the book.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️

This was definitely something different than what I expected it to be. Considering the title says "a little book of festive joy" I expected it to be joyful and celebratory of the holiday season. However, while there was minimal talk of traditions, it was very brief and then the rest of the book was more about combatting anxious situations created by the holiday season.

This is not me trying to discredit anyone who suffers anxiety during the holiday season, as I know it can be a difficult time of year for some, all I am saying is that this is not exactly what was advertised to me; Therefore, I was expecting something a little more cheerful.

Had I known this was more of a self-help book rather than a fun celebratory book going in, I might have liked it more, but honestly that just isn't what I am looking to read right now. Which is why it took me so long to read. If you are someone who suffers from anxiety during the holiday season or from seasonal depression (maybe, I personally don't have this myself, I am guessing that this could help) you might benefit from reading this, while it gives you some very average tips to combat it.

I wish this is something different than it was... I was left disappointed.
